Expand description in work papers, or have wrap to see full description

At a glance

The community member in the post is unable to expand or see information about KM travelled that is included in the description field, and would like to be able to view this information in Sumday without having to reference Xero.

In the comments, another community member suggests that bringing in the column management feature from the Carbon Ledger, where users can resize and reorder columns, would be helpful. Another community member agrees, and also mentions that the collapsible left menu in the worksheets is an annoyance, as it expands and stays open when they are trying to refer to other screens and data.

In this scenario, the KM travelled were included in the description field. I'm unable to expand it or see the information and have Xero open to be able to reference and add the information in.


It would be great to be able to see the information in Sumday without having to reference Xero.

Good suggestion Bailey! I reckon even bringing in the column management feature where you can resize and reorder from the Carbon Ledger would help a lot! Have shared it with the team :)

I think the resize feature would be awesome!

Something that was getting in the way today with the worksheets was the collapsible left menu. When I'm in the worksheets I'm often referring to another screen for the data I'm entering and have a calculator open. If I move my cursor over the left menu to select something in a different window it would expand and stay open when I would come back. It feels like having an annoying cupboard door that doesn't close and keeps opening and you keep closing it and then it opens again and you close it again. And then it opens 🫠
